There was heavy deployment of security personnel around the MKO venue of the inauguration of Prince Dapo Abiodun asOgun State governor on Wednesday.
Ace Celebrities Magazine reports that scores of security personnel, comprising of VIP Protocol personnels, soldiers, were seen manning strategic positions around the venue.officers of Nigeria Police Ogun State Command Mopol 16 with Armoured Personnel Carriers and vans, Anty Bomb Squard under the supervision of CSP Taiwo Akingbehin also discharged the duty with professionalism, CSP Tijani Muhammed OC Sars Ogun State Command did well with his men of the Unit, Commandant Soji Gazalo and his corps ,  Zone 2 Unit,  NCDC, ISN, Nigeria Army Alama  with full arms that were dotted the streets around the venue.

Those coming into MKO for the inauguration were subjected to a thorough search by security personnel which also included Government officials

Ace reports that neatly dressed trade union members and party faithful who arrived as early as 7am, had taken their seats.


As of 9.35a.m. most of the seats had been occupied, even as journalists had taken their positions.

Abiodun and his family arrives at the venue as at the time of writing this report, but the deputy governor Engr Noimot Oyedele  had arrived before the Governor Elect in company with her family and some security details.

Senator Tolu Otegbeye( Ogun East) Senator Lekan Mustapha, the state’s Head of Service, Prince Gboyega Isiak GNI, Chief Olusegun Osoba were some of the prominent personalities already present.


Ace reports that traffic from most parts of the state to the venue was seriously hectic and control by the traffic official in the state

The police parade was superb despite  the serious wind and heavy rain in the morning. The police band too dished out classical songs to welcome the new governor.
