In a statement signed by head of her Media Team in commemoration of the June 12 Democracy Day celebration, Adenike, who is creating support group for Asiwaju Bola Hamed Tinubu second term for the 2027 Presidential seat, argued that the day is not just a celebration but a reminder of the country’s commitment to democracy and the principles of good governance.
She equally honored the struggles and sacrifices of Nigeria’s forebears who fought for democratic rights, while encouraging the youth in Nigeria to stay engaged, pursue their passions, and become leaders in their chosen fields.
Her words “As we celebrate Democracy Day on June 12, we honor the struggles and sacrifices of our forebears MKO Abiola who fought for our democratic rights. Today, as a citizen of Nigeria , I urge us to harness the power of unity, resilience, and progress to drive growth and create opportunities that benefit all citizens.
“To our politicians in Nigeria, I encourage you all to stay engaged irrespective of our parties, pursue your integrity, and become leaders in your chosen wards and beyond. Your energy and creativity will shape the future of our politics in Nigeria at large.
“To our Political leaders, I urge you to prioritize the welfare of our citizens, promote transparency, and ensure accountability. As we mark this significant day, let’s reaffirm our commitment to democracy, unity, and progress
She believes that the energy and creativity of young people will shape the future of the state and Nigeria in general.
Yeye Basirat also urged all leaders in South West to prioritise the good work of Asiwaju Bola Tinubu renewhope agenda to secure the second term, good governance is key to driving progress and creating opportunities for all.
