Honourable Justice Morenike born in 1963, she is a native of Epe, Lagos State, and has a strong background in civil litigation, having served as the Director of Civil Litigation. 

Justice Morenike is a seasoned jurist in Nigeria, primarily associated with the Lagos State High Court, not the Federal High Court. Sworn in as a High Court Judge in 2001, she has served in  the Ikeja Judicial Division and chaired the Lagos State Local Government Election Appeals Tribunal in 2021. 

Justice Morenike Olasunmbo Obadina

currently the Judge, High Court of Lagos State serving since 2001. 

She played a vital role in local government election tribunal in  October 2021. 

The Chief Judge of Lagos State, Hon. Justice Kazeem Alogba, swore in Justice Obadina as the Chairman of the Lagos State Local Government Election Appeals Tribunal.

From 2000–2001 she previously presided over cases at the Lagos High Court in Igbosere, including handling defamation cases. 

she was established as a Judge of the High Court of Lagos State, part of the Lagos State Judiciary, rather than the Federal High Court of Nigeria.
